It is indeed true that people around the world have so much craze for ongoing fashion and hairstyles. I think this is happening because of their status consciousness and desire for becoming famous. I also contend that it is a negative development due to wastage of money.
People are so passionate about fashion and hairstyles owing to two main reasons. The most compelling reason is that they want to maintain their status for which wearing the most fashionable clothes is considered by them as a status symbol. They generally flaunt following the fashion. For example, majority of people agree that they wear the latest fashionable wearable because of status recognition. Another reason is that people have the urge to be famous and likeable and they reckon that adopting the current trend will help them to be recognisable and makes it easy for them to become popular.
Chasing the trending fashion and hairstyles is certainly a negative development for a number of reasons. At the outset, it sometimes leads to unnecessary purchasing because people buy new clothes and gadgets regularly just to show-off which eventually lead to overspending of money. Moreover, it leads to loss of their tradition and owns uniqueness because if everyone is trying to look similar by tracking others lifestyle especially famous celebrities to become fashionable then people will end up having their identity crises.
Conclusively, there are some factors which lead people to pay attention to the latest fashion and hairstyles. However, I think that such a trend has negative consequences for the people who follow it.
