  • Flowers are the beautiful and precious gifts of God. They add charm to our life. I like many flowers but rose is my favorite flower.
  • Rose is universally acknowledged as the queen of flowers. There is hardly any country, city, town or place where rose is not available.
  • It is the proud choice of the worshipers, poets, lovers and even the saints. Every devotee of God offers rose at the time of pray. Lovers are in search of a rose on the Valentine Day.
  • Rose has so many other qualities. Its sweet fragrance charms everybody and it can turn even an enemy into a friend.
  • It has cosmetic value. People use it in face-packs and other skin-purifiers. They use rose-water for curing minor infections of eyes. Its preparation is used as a laxative to cure constipation. Last but not the least, rose is used for decorating houses and weddings.
  • People give the Banquet of roses on occasions like marriages, Birthday, anniversaries etc. Its bouquet brings smile on the receivers face.
  • Red Rose has thorns in itself. It shows rose’s boldness to face the situation and give us a lesson of life that life is not bed of roses.

OR

  • Paddy plant is a very common plant which is grown in our country. The farmers of our country cultivate it and it is grown in most of the places in our country.
  • If you go to countryside in paddy season, you will find this plant dancing with the wind. This plant grows well in fertile land and needs a good supply of water and sunlight.
  • The paddy plant is a medium side plant which is thin and the leaves and body of this plant are green. Usually, the rice seed is green in early states and becomes yellow when it is ripe.
  • Our economy heavily depends on rice production. Our environment, soil, water and fields are in favour of producing a large quantity of rice each year.
  • India stands in second position after China in the production of rice. Methods of growing rice differ greatly in different regions, but in most Asian countries including India, the traditional hand methods of cultivating and harvesting rice are still practiced.
  • Modern farming of rice started in most of the countries which drastically reduced the labour problems and cost of cultivation. There are machines available from planting to harvesting the rice crop.
  • Some parts of Indian rural areas still depend on the wet buffalos for land preparation and manpower in plantation and harvesting. People often confuses with paddy and rice. Rice when it is still covered by the brown hull is known as paddy.
  • Since I live in a city now, I don’t see these plants here but in my childhood whenever I went to visit our village, I found this plant in every field.
  • Mile after mile farmers cultivate paddy plants and wish to get a good quantity of rice. These paddy plants are beautiful and create a harmony with the wind if you hear closely. The dancing of this plant with the wind is something that would simply create a magical hallucination.
  • I also like it because this plant provides us rice which is our staple food. The taste and food value are quite good and it is our main crop. In our country, this is probably the most important plant we grow.
