A far as I know, the only company that employs a large number of people is a textile producing company. Its name is JCT Limited. It is located in heart of the city near the highway. Karan Thapar is the owner of the company. He is a very successful businessman.
JCT is one of the leading manufacturers of textiles and filament yarn. JCT was the first manufacturer in the country to introduce eco-friendly fabric made of organic cotton. It employees about 10000 employees and I am sure it’s more than enough to say that it employs a lot of people. There is hardly anyone in our country who does not know or has never heard about this company. Moreover, is SAP production is done by automatic machines, is the number of people involved in all the process.
There are many plant workers who clean prepare and monitor the pieces of equipment. So there are a number of controllers and supervisors who control the organization. Even there are many Accountants who managed the final statements of the company. It has the production capacity of 63 million meters of fabric per annum.
In fact, the company also provide some special needs to their employers like , provide houses and medical facilities also give holidays and gifts on special events. So this is the organisation in my hometown which gives the oppurtunity to people get work.
