Describe the recent happy event that you had

You should say:

Just a couple of weeks ago I had a birthday and it seems to me this was one of the best birthdays in my life.
First of all, I didn’t expect so many people to congratulate me. I was really pleased as my phone kept ringing all day long and I receive messages non-stop.
In the afternoon, I invited my friends to the restaurant. The party was unbelievably cool as it was perfect from start to finish.
What’s more, it was completely different from all the other birthday parties I had before. My friends prepared several unusual ways to congratulate me.
For example, they made a video in which each of them was giving their wishes to me. There were even those who were living abroad and those whom I hadn’t seen for a long time. This surprise was best as it was the least expected.
Also, they gave me a car cake as I was dreaming of buying one. One more thing they surprised me with their hidden presents and made me solve riddles which helped me to find them.
Without these surprises, party would not have been so exciting and fun. Apart from that, we ate delicious food, sang song and danced.
In the evening I had a festive dinner with my family which was just great as I was happy to see all the nearest and dearest and share an important movement with them.
It was then that my parents give me the present I had been dreaming of and couldn’t even imagine I would receive it in the near future.
It was a car of Tata brand which I like the most. It was my best birthday and I enjoyed the whole day.
