Describe an occasion when you had to arrive early
You should say:
- -What occasion it was
- -When it was
- -What you did while you were waiting
- -Why you arrived early
- The last time when I chose to arrive much earlier than I had to was last month when I was trying to Bangalore to meet my cousin. As far as I remember I arrived at the airport 4 hours before my flight.
- I know a lot of people who try to get to the airport movements before the check-in cutoff just because they don’t like to queue at the check-in desk and consider that every extra moment at the airport is a moment wasted.
- But that’s not about me. On the one hand, I hate waiting in all its manifestations as I always feel like I would be waiting forever.
- On the other hand, I am paranoid about being late. So in most cases I prefer to choose the lesser of two evils and Show up much earlier than I need. Just in case.
- So I arrived very early. First of all, I did so as I was afraid to be late. And in that case if I had been late, it would have been too costly a mistake as I had paid 15000 rupees for the ticket.
- Of course, I was bored to death as I hate waiting. Therefore I tried to occupy myself by doing different things. Frankly speaking, I found it hard to do something to kill the waiting time that wasn’t being glued to my phone.
- For this reason, while waiting, I spent some time cleaning up my phone’s photo gallery and deleting files I no longer needed.
- Also, I spoke on the phone. Oh, I nearly forgot. I was trying out the latest Snapchat filters, taking selfies and looking up some information on Google.
- When the battery died, I started pacing back and forth, checking my watches. When I got tired, I found a seat and started tapping my fingers on the armrest. Time seemed to pass extra slowly until take-off, but I don’t regret being an early person.
