Describe a situation when someone gave positive comments to you about what you did

I remember one time when my brother and I received positive comments from our relatives. It happened last year when we organised a surprise party for our parents’ 20^th wedding anniversary. We both kept it secret from our parents. We started planning for it one month before and divided the work between us. 

On that day, firstly, we wished them with a bouquet of flowers during the midnight. They were very pleased to have it. Then, in the morning, we presented them two tickets of a latest movie named Ardaas. When they were in the theatre, we made all the arrangements regarding the party. We invited our relatives and even their friends. Also, we decorated the whole house with buntings and balloons. We ordered for a big cake with their picture on it and some snacks like samosas, fritters, sandwiches, pizza, Manchurian, and some drinks. Moreover, we also arranged for sherwani and lehanga for them. After watching movie when they entered home, we all clapped and wished them. 

Then, we gave them dresses to change. They were delighted as well as surprised after looking at all the decorations. They were on cloud nine when they saw the cake. Then, they cut the cake together. All relatives and friends gave them gifts. We also gave them a collage of their wedding photographs. We all enjoyed and danced on the DJ beats. We clicked many pictures that day. All guests were happy and gave compliments to us for arranging party so gracefully.

We both were satisfied that we were able to manage all the arrangements so beautifully. We were over the moon to get the positive comments.
