Q1. Please describe your hometown a little.

Well, it is a small city on National High 44. It is located in the Doaba region of the Indian state of Punjab between Jalandhar and Ludhiana. Some Famous Markets are Gaushala Bazar, basan wala bazar and Guru Hargobind Nagar Market.just on the outskirts of the city. The city is internationally recognized because a large NRI (Non-resident Indian) population belongs to this city. A large number of people belong to Rajput Barsar, Jat caste. Before Phagwara was merged with Kapurthala district, it was a part of Jalandhar district.

Q2. What is your town well known for?

There are some places to visit in Phagwara. Most of them are religious places like Shri Guru Ravidas Temple, Chak Hakim, Shiv Mandir Pakka Bagh, Baba Balak Nath Mandir, Panj Mandiri Temple, Geeta Bhawan Mandir, Gurudwara Sukhchain Sahib, Gurudwara Chhevin Patshahi, Shri Swami Shankar Nath Parvat Math, Mata Mansa Devi Hadiabad, Khera Masjid. Apart from religious places, the Hargobind Nagar Chaupati area is very famous that has most of the Outlets and Showrooms of big brands.

Q3. Do you like your hometown?

Yes, is never Boring no matter what your interest. It is a nice City, you can easily find where to go and what to do. One thing I particularly like about it is that although it is a small city, there are lots of places where you can hang around with friends and spend time with family.

Q4. How long have you been living here?

I have been living there since I was a child. I have been born and brought up there.

Q5. Do you think you will continue living there for a long time?

Well, I want to move to a larger city as soon as possible as living here is unlikely to give me a chance to achieve my goals and make my dreams come true. So, given a chance, I will try to start a new life in a metro city.

Q6. How has your town changed over the last 20 years?

In my opinion, there have been many noticeable changes over the last two decades. Of course, several modern buildings have been erected and the infrastructure has improved. but at the same time, It is a lot more crowded now. There is more traffic, therefore more pollution.
