The chart below shows the different levels of post-school qualifications in Australia and the proportion of men and women who held them in 1999.<\/strong> Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bar graph compares various levels of qualifications opted by both the genders after graduating from high school in Australia in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, among all the five courses, men were most interested in skilled vocational diploma, whereas postgraduate diploma was most popular in women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In detail, men gave more preference to two out of five after school qualifications, namely skilled vocational diploma and undergraduate diploma. The highest proportion of men was noticed in skilled vocational diploma where the men were 90%. This clearly states that women were least interested in this diploma. Similarly, in undergraduate diploma, 7 out of 10 students were male and 3 were female.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In contrast, women had more interest in postgraduate diploma and master\u2019s degree.\u00a0 The maximum percentage of women can be seen in postgraduate diploma as there number was 70% so men gave least preference to this qualification. In master\u2019s degree also, women were more in number and there was a difference of 20% in both the genders. Interestingly, equal number of men and women took admission in bachelor\u2019s degree.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
