  • I am sure that my parents are the two people who have what I can classify as a really happy marriage.<\/li>\n
  • Just imagine, next year they will have been married for a whopping 25 years, and it seems to me they are more in love now than they were many years ago.<\/li>\n
  • It is easy to have a fun and romantic courtship period, but it’s not that easy to keep this romance alive for decades. Somehow they manage to.<\/li>\n
  • I think my parents live a happy married life. At least, whenever I see them, they look genuinely happy and I don’t think that it is possible to pretend so naturally.<\/li>\n
  • First of all, they spend a lot of time together, doing shopping, travelling, and walking. By the way, they still hold hands when they walk. Isn’t it sweet? If they didn’t love each other, why would they?<\/li>\n
  • Also, they communicate a lot. Every evening they talk about their day at work, their concerns, and pretty much anything else they want to get off the chests.<\/li>\n
  • What I find really cool is that the never forget to say ‘I love you’ to each other. Some people may think they say so out of habit, but if only they could see the way they look at one another when they say these words, they would understand that they really mean what they say.<\/li>\n
  • Needless to say, they support and take care of each other no matter what. What’s important is that they always speak respectfully about each other even when the other spouse isn’t there to hear it.<\/li>\n
  • For example, I have never heard my mom complaining about my father to her friends. That doesn’t mean they never have any arguments. Of course they do. They sometimes have tough times like all of us.<\/li>\n
  • But they know how to find a compromise, listen to each other and take one another’s feelings and wishes into consideration.<\/li>\n
  • To my mind, these are the things that help them live a happy married life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    OR<\/p>\n

    • Well, I would like to talk about my own parents whose marriage is undoubtedly long They have been married for 30 years now and are the perfect couple in my eyes.<\/li>\n
    • My mother and father are now in their 60s. They are still really busy with their nine to five jobs in a government office even though both of them are going to retire later this year.<\/li>\n
    • During 30 years of marriage, my parents have gone through a lot of thick and thin but have never lost the love for each<\/li>\n
    • To be more specific, my parents show their affection simply by always being honest with each other and sharing their true feelings.<\/li>\n
    • Their mutual understanding is so profound that sometimes they only need one look to find out what the other person wants.<\/li>\n
    • And yes, minor tiffs still happen every now and then between my mom and dad, you know, things like who will have to pick up the kids or who get the TV remote.<\/li>\n
    • However, my dad is always the first one to give in and turn to comfort my mother. I think that little action is actually the key to my parents\u2019 long-term relationship.<\/li>\n
    • To me, mom and dad is a perfect match and I admire their love so much. Hopefully, in the future, I can get myself a partner that care for me as much as my parents care for each other.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
