The table shows details for four\ncountries concerning the percentage of the population who use the railways, how\nmany kilometers\neach\nperson travels on average, and the number of tons of cargo the railways carry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, Chinese\npeople used the railway more than the people of other country and cargo carried\nmore goods in Canada among the given countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is surprising is that very few\nAmericans use rail-less\nthan\nhalf of one per cent- and they do not travel far (just 80 kilometers).\nHowever,\nthe Canada carries by far the most cargo, nearly 3 thousand billion tons. This\ncontrasts greatly with China, where 27% of the population use rail, and they\neach travel further (1980 kilometers) than\nany of the other countries. On the other hand, less than 25 billion tons of\nfreight is carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two countries which are most\nsimilar are the Malaysia and UAE. Both have between 5 and 6% of people who use\ntrains, they travel between 770 and 780 kilometers and the\namount of freight is approximately the same (22.2 and 21.9 billion tons\nrespectively).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
