Do you agree or disagree?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Many\npeople in the world currently choose not to eat meat in their daily meals.\nWhile I accept that this tendency can help people to live healthily, I believe\nnot everyone should become vegetarian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the outset, I agree that there are several benefits of being a vegetarian. Firstly, since there are many types of vegetables that can provide people with enough nutrients, it has become less necessary for people to eat meat. For example, potatoes and beans are two popular dishes for families in India because of the large number of calories they can provide. Secondly, vegetables and fruits contain vitamins that are highly beneficial for people. For instance, it has been proven that eating an apple every day can help individuals improve their health and avoid illness. Finally, if more people refuse to eat meat, fewer animals will be slaughtered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On\nthe other hand, I believe this tendency is not suitable for everyone. First, it\nis not advisable for children to become vegetarian. As they are in the process\nof growing up, they need to eat a wide range of food, including meat which\ncontains essential nutrients, to improve their physical health. If children\nonly eat vegetables, they might become less healthy than they should be.\nFurthermore, athletes are the people who should not be vegetarian. Since their\njob involves intense training on a regular basis, they need to consume meat\nsuch as beef or pork which provides them with enough calories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, while I agree that becoming a vegetarian can help people have a healthy diet, I do not think it is an option that everybody should take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Important Vocabulary:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022\nnutrient<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>a substance that is needed to keep a\nliving thing alive and help it to grow<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Example:\na lack of essential nutrients can cause health issues<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022\nrefuse<\/strong><strong>:\n<\/strong>to say\nthat you will not do sth that sb has\nasked you to do<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Example:\nShe refused to accept that there was a problem.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022\nslaughter<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>to kill an animal, usually for its\nmeat<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Example:\nThe lambs are taken to the local butcher to be slaughtered.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022\nintense<\/strong><strong>:\n<\/strong>serious\nand often involving a lot of action in a short period of time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Example:\nIt was a period of intense activity.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many people in the world currently choose not to eat meat in their daily meals.
